I wrote these poems at sixteen while struggling with mental illness. The vulnerability of the writings within can make me uncomfortable, to say the least. Am I being judged? Is my art any good? I don't know that it matters. That's probably not the point.
I hope my perspective is helpful or enlightening. I hope my vulnerability is appreciated, not dismissed, but - more importantly - I hope that your reading experience feels as much about you as it does about me.
